the Dynamic Duo

Question:
I just had to share a recent picture that I took of Raven (mother) and Dove. Dove was one of the triplets that was born in Jan. They are my dynamic duo! Dove is an exact replica of Raven (personality wise) so we call her mini Raven.
Side note: dove has a weird marking on the bottom of her tail...it looks like beige (her daddy is beige). has anyone ever seen an ebony with markings before???

Answer:
They are so adorable! What a cute pair they make Mom with little mini me! Teehee!

Answer:
Yeah, they both have that same wild look in their eyes

Answer:
ooooooooohh deeeeeaaaaar! Those are some ADORABLE PICS!

You forgot to mention the white toe on each foot! I think that is the cutest thing ever!

Answer:
Like looking in a mirror! Amanda, they are both beautiful!

Answer:
They are both such beauties, Amanda. I don't see why ebonies can't have a wee bit of marking. Is Dove homozygous or heterozygous for ebony?

Answer:
Awww Adorable they are very cute! Ebs from Beige and Ebony pairing can often have strange markings.

Well, Raven (mother) is homozygous ebony and the father (joey) is heterozygous beige. but I was under the impression that we can't classify eb's as hetero or homo b/c that is not really what the genetics are (but the beiges are actually hetero and homo genetics). I was calling Dove a very dark ebony.

Carleen , I am happy to hear that I can get strange markings with this pairing...its actually kinda cute to see a hint of her father in her color

Answer:
Hmm, I guess I had my ideas all messed up. I was sure you could classify ebonies as hetero or homo. Live and learn!

Answer:
They are sooo cute! It's so fascinating how they are exactly the same!
