My cats
Question: Here is a couple pictures of my babies oscar and pumpkin. Well they're not really babies, oscar is 8 and pumpkin is 10. Oscar is left pumpkin is on the right. Answer: Cuties! Is it Pumpkin that gets seizures? Answer: Yes, pumpkin is the one that gets them. Scares me everytime, luckily its been about 5 days since the last time. He doesnt shake like what you might think of a siezer, he gets low to the ground and appears to be coughing and choking. Answer: They are very pretty! Just a thought, but I see that there are plants very accessible to them. Have you checked to make sure that they are not poisonous? Do you think maybe Pumpkin is eating a toxic plant that could be causing her seizures? Probably not a problem, but it was just a thought.... Answer: Hi fertmom, thanks. They don't eat those big houseplants. We have had other plants in the house a few years ago that they were interested in and we got them out of there. So no thats not what causes it. The vet said that the seizures are caused from a misfire of neurons in his brain. It's not caused from him eating or drinking anything poisonous. And they are only indoor cats. Thanks for your thought though, it was a good idea. plants are always a concern. Answer: so cute. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
