Together at last
Question: Wingnut and Umbra are finally caged together. Yipee! I needed to clean Umbra's cage today, and I thought, "What the heck, I'll put her in with Wingnut and see what happens." Of course, he immediately tried to be the "boss," the "dominant one," the one "on top." Nudge nudge wink wink. She put up with his shenanigans for about three seconds (like she did during playtime yesterday) and then asserted her dominance. He was much more penitent after she sprayed him a few times and removed more of his fur. I watched them for about 1/2 an hour and they were ignoring each other and doing their own thing. I had to pay attention to a human guest for awhile, so I left the two furballs on their own. I came back about 20 minutes ago to some heavy petting and grooming going on. They totally ignored me as I angled around them with the camera flash going. Ah, it could be love. Answer: I am glad to hear they are friends. Answer: Here are the shots from today's grooming festival. Answer: hee hee! They look so cute together! Answer: You were right Sophie (yes, I can actually admit someone else was right) and the small cage together gave them less fighting room. They really are quite sweet right now. Answer: lol hey I was just sharing my experience, not trying to say you were wrong I'm glad it worked out for you though! Answer: Yay!!! Good for them! I knew they would work out their differences! Answer: they are soo cute! it didn't seem to take them that long to get to know one another! Answer: Awwww doesn't that just make you smile and smile! Carleen Answer: I'm so glad you had a successful introduction. The small cage works great for me. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
