http://www.brownielocks.com/june.html says it's June 3rd, though I found some saying May 3 and May 30, as well as May 15... Though most of the May 15 ones were for the US. Not sure if that makes a difference

I found a bunch of dates too. I heard it on the radio this morning and googled "hug your cat day" and got May 15, May 30, June 3, and June 4. So I guess we'll have to celebrate them all!

Do you REALLY need a day to appreciate and hug your cat though? If I had a cat I'd constantly be cuddling it...the cat would end up wanting me to appreciate it from afar I bet

Unfortunately, both my cats hate being hugged.. they get alot of belly rubs instead.

I agree though. Your kitties should be hugged everyday. I should've gone to the shelter I volunteer at and hugged all the cats there.

I went over to my friend's house tonight and gave out lots of Kitty Hugs! She has 4 cats and they LIKE being hugged (unlike my two brats)..

Suzoo, you can come here and hug mine too if you'd like. I'm always under a pile of hugging kitties. (Though I check your pockets at the door, as many people want to take them home, particularily Samurai, as he gives hugs )
