Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum and I would like to greet everyone and introduce a bit about myself. I live in Vancouver BC. I just started being a chinchilla owner this May, but I'm addited to them immediately. Right now I have 4 chinchillas. 2 standard male brothers (5 months), 1 hetero beige female (4 months) and 1 white mosaic male (5 months). The standards are from my friend who had too many of them. The beige and white mosaic I bought from pet shop. I'm now looking for quality chinchillas for breeding. I just bought a black velvet male (vc), a medium ebony female, and a violet female from Ritterspach. They will come in in two weeks. I can hardly wait to see them!! My favourite colors are pink white, white violet and ebony. I'm trying to breed as many different colors as possible. My wish is to get a quality sapphire pair in the future. But that's in the future cus I'm pretty much broke right now (from buying all the fancy chinchillas). I'll post my chins' pics when they've arrived. I've seen the pics of many of your chins. They are just stunningly beautiful!

Welcome, I am always glad to find new chinnie lovers and yes chinnies are addicting, I blame my neice for my addiction.
I started with one and with in a month had four and now we are up to 25 with three Stubborn females due any time but has not had them yet. So I know how easy it is to go broke due to chinnie passion.

wow, 25 chins? I wish I can have that many. But I hardly have room for my own chins. My one bedroom suite is packed with stuff already, so I have to keep the size of the herd down.

Welcome to POTN. I only have 5 chins at the moment. But I have a female due anytime and I am getting a nice mosaic or black velvet from someone else I know (thats when it is born of course) I won't disclose who yet though, I'm making sure I get the cutest one
