My boy that came home (inspired by Carleen's post)
Question: After seeing Carleen's post about Snowhoe coming home, I thought I better get motivated and post about Bugsy coming home. He was not the result of neglect though, as he was very much spoiled rotten with his previous owner. She just wanted to get some rescues to foster, and couldn't do it with the lack of cage space, so his coming back here made sense. He was the last baby born from my retired black velvet female who came from a ranch back east. I was sorry I hadn't kept one of her kits, as she is a real looker, so am happy to have Bugsy here Answer: You must be thrilled! He is adorable. Kudos for that lady wanting to rescue some more animals! Answer: Awwww Hi Bugsy! I'm glad you got him back Laurie. Snowshoe's settling in wonderfully. Carleen Answer: Originally Posted by Carlee36 Awwww Hi Bugsy! I'm glad you got him back Laurie. Snowshoe's settling in wonderfully. Carleen Ya, I bet Snowshoe thinks he's in heaven. Bugsy had no problem adjusting here, he just settled right in. One more of my babies is floating around unknown places too, so I am still searching for her, another TOV, seems it's always the TOV's with mine that people get rid of. I doubt I'll find her though, or when I do, won't know if it's her, since alot of black velvets look similar. I get leads on her, then can't go anywhere with it, and unless her paperwork went with her, I may never know Answer: Welcome home Bugsy. You are back where you belong. Answer: I think it's wonderful that you have Bugsy back in your life. Answer: I am glad you found him, I know he is happy to be home. Answer: Well, happy to say that Bugsy has fallen into our routine nicely. Last night, at feeding and play time, there he was, loudly shaking his cage door to be let out . Answer: Congrats on getting your baby back! Can I ask why you are looking for them to get them back? Answer: I wasn't looking for this one, I knew where he was, his owner just couldn't rescue, so it made sense that he came back here. The other one, I had heard that her owner "got rid" of her, but then recently heard it was a different story . So, I would like to find her. Most breeders want to have the option of buying their babies back if the owners can't keep them, so as to prevent them from falling in the wrong hands, as well as being able to get updates on them, or giving any background updates when needed.
