Women pleads for 150 cats' lives
Question: This story was on the front page today of our local Langley newspaper. Women pleads for 150 cats' lives. http://www.langleytimes.com/ This is a horrible situation! Answer: How sad... I hope they let her move to the property she wants to. Answer: ohh I realy hope that it all works out for her!!! from the picture.. she even does a great job of keeping it all clean.. normally you hear that when someone has that many animals its usually got feces and urine all over the place cause they got too many... Gilmore has put her own money into the shelter and "goes above and beyond duty" in caring for the animals, Lewis said, adding that it costs Gilmore $1,000 a week for pet food, litter, medicine, and having the animals spayed and neutered. If no resolution is found to the cats' housing crisis, 150 cats and kittens could be euthanized, Lewis told council after taking care of the animals and putting all that money into helping them out that would be a shame to have to put them down.. hope she can get the property she needs. Answer: I wonder if there's a way to contact her to make a donation. I bet if everyone heard about her troubles she could raise a little cash to hopefully save her shelter! I can't believe they would do that to all of those beautiful kitties, especially when she's spent so much of her time and generosity to make sure they are healthy and happy!! There's just so little time, it's going to take a miracle! Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
