OK, Savannah is driving me insane!
Question: Savannah, my dark eb ritterspach chinnie, is due any day I am sure. She is huge and miserable, and has been in the maternity cage for a couple of weeks now. Last night she was doing the pre-labor thing, stretching out, etc. I got up to check on her through the night (I panic easy can you tell?), and nothing, but she was still stretching. then this morning, she was in her tube sleeping, and when I looked in on her, she gave me a dirty look for disturbing her. I am going nuts waiting for these kits now. Sophie.....keep your fingers crossed for that white eb female foster chinnie Answer: I told Tim about the WCFF and he just rolled his eyes Answer: Sophie, what's up with the white ebony female foster chinnie? Laurie, that is why I removed myself from watching Tweety all the time. I figured when she has them, I will know. Answer: Not much actually. Laurie told me she may have an eb white mosaic baby for me. I told her Tim would kill me at this point if I brought up the idea of a third chinnie. So we came up with the idea that Laurie could foster my "new baby" permanently...we call it the World Chinchilla Foster Foundation (WCFF) Answer: Sophie, tell Tim we wouldn't have to go this route if you were allowed another chin . I figure this way though, at least you could name her and get foster chinnie pictures and stuff like that (pssssst, Sophie - I think Denise thinks we are crazy ) Denise - I can't help but watch her though, especially with all of the stretching. I'm doing it for Sophie, ya, that's it Answer: Here's hoping she pops soon....and I am keeping my fingers crossed for that white eb Sophie Answer: Originally Posted by SIChins Sophie, tell Tim we wouldn't have to go this route if you were allowed another chin . I hope for your's and Sophie's sake Savannah pops soon. I personally would tell Tim that she is fostering the chin for a week or so and then when he falls in love with the little one, he could not say no. Yeah I tried that with two chinnie babies from Cinnamon's last litter. They stayed here for almost 2 months and he STILL didn't let me keep either one Answer: Sophie, why is Tim against adding a third chinnie? Does he think if you add a third, there will be a fourth, fifth, etc? Answer: Originally Posted by Denise Sophie, why is Tim against adding a third chinnie? Also because I get extremely upset when they get sick or pass away (I've only had one pass away so far but I was extremely upset over it as you know) He just doesn't know what to do to make me feel better when that happens and it gets him upset. He figures that the more chins I add, the more likely one of those situations is to happen. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
