Answer:
Yes. I woke up this morning to find him gone. During the night he must have busted out the third bedroom screen. I only noticed it missing because Samurai was outside looking in Guy walked the roof but did not see him. He must have jumped down after something. Good news is no dead bodies along the roadside. We just finished another walk-around. Lots of posters up. Animal control ofcourse isn't contactable on Sunday's, but I did email the mississauga humane society incase they get something on him. We'll be going around again about 5ish as it should have cooled down a bit by then and he may be out and about. We figure he's curled up sleeping somewhere as it is nice and warm out. Or some kid found him and took him home He's very affectionate. I've left the window open upstairs incase he comes back that way somehow, though obviously the door is closed so the other cats can't get out. I hope he comes back soon.

This must be very scarey for both you and him. Hopefully, because of his age, and being an indoor cat, he won't have gone far, but, it would be an idea to check your old address, as cats have a natural homing instinct, and because you recently moved, he may have tried to head back that way. Could you put posters in your old neighbourhood? I hope you find him.

oh, lizz, i had cyrus and dusty get out through a torn door screen christmas before last and it was the most terrifying experience. i will hoepand pray and go light a candle right now that he comes home or you find him on walkabout!
