I plan on buying a new cage for Tweety and Lexus but I am not buying it assembled. Which means hubby gets the honor of putting it together. Did it take a long time? I would do it but I think it would look like the Leaning Tower of Pisa!

It took me about an hour, but it's not one of those metal monster cages, it's a little smaller. I got one of the giants from Martin's-took me 3 hours to put together, because I had to stop and rest my hands a few times. I'm glad I cut my nails last night, they'd be broken off today, but unfortunately now the ends of my fingers are rubbed raw
BTW-I'd love to see how my hubby would respond to "Baby, can you put this chilla cage together?" He'd say "You ordered it, blah blah blah, the chillas are yours, yadda yadda yadda, and I'm tired anyway."

Carla, Dave has been very acommodating when it comes to the chinnies. He is the one that hauls up 100 pound bags of bedding up the stairs, drives me to chinnie shows, and will soon be putting a cage together for me. He wasn't too excited about putting the cage together but I told him it will save putting miles on our car and then he said it wasn't too bad.

I haul the 50 pound boxes of food, the giganto-humongus bags of bedding...you get the picture He spent his part of the tax return on a computer part he didn't need-I bought cages for OUR pets and medicine for OUR dogs
