I was listening to the radio on the way home the other day and one of the DJs was talking about his cat laying in the sink. It immediately caught my attention because Syd lays in the sink nearly every morning while I get ready for work. The DJ thought that there was something medically wrong with his cat and starting researching the issue on the internet. That's when he came across this site:

My parents cat Ashes does that! We call it "lounging pool side" cause she lays on a towel with the sink partly full. She loves to pull the plug out. The sink plug is her best friend. We've found it downstairs, upstairs, in her toy basket...everywhere.

My current cats don't sit in the sink.. but my former cat Monte did everyday.. He also refused to drink out of a water bowl.. I had to let the bathroom sink slowly drip for him..
