Emily's update

Question:
Emily finally came home from the vet late on Saturday afternoon. She was pretty groggy still, and wrapped up in a belly bandage. She did alot of sleeping, and we did our best to keep her inactive (alot harder than you think!). The bandage bugged her though, and she kept rubbing up against everything and managed to work it down so that it was pretty ineffective.

But on Monday morning we went back to the vet for them to change the bandage and check her out. She was doing really well. That's when the vet confessed that things were really bad with her, one of the worst spays they've ever experienced. So they were very happy to see her doing so well! She had won over everyone's heart in just those few days.

So all in all she's doing really well. She got a urinary infection, but we have her on antibiotics to help with that, and already since Monday it seems to be clearing up. She's happy, and getting more active everyday. Her bandages are off and she appears to be healing well.

So while it was a rocky beginning, I think she's going to have a wonderful life with us!

Answer:
