Natalie at the park

Question:
Poor Pagan didn't make it into any of the pictures- but we have lots of pictures of the ratties- today was for Natalie. She had a great time terrorizing the ducks and she was actually really well behaved- I have no compaints- well, except now wondering if they make doggie poo bags in extra large...

BTW, there is a video of Hogan and Natalie dragging Ginia through the mud I intend to sneak up when she isn't looking LMAO

Answer:
Great pics. Looks like fun. Isn't wonderful when they behave?
I was proud of my dogs the other day. We ran into two dogs that were off leash and my girls completely ignored them. Fortunately, both loose dogs kept their distance. Bear (my boy) was cautious at first, but then wanted to play with his new 'friends'. A quick 'leave it' from me was all he needed and he kept walking.
The second to last pic looks like they're trying to team up and pull the leash holder into the water.
Lol, we just use grocery store bags for the big dogs here. Cheap, easy and big, just check for holes or double them up before use.

I didn't think before we left home about the size of the bombs Natalie can drop- and they ALWAYS have to go when they are out somewhere. I keep a box of the little black bags in the car and always stuff a few in my pocket. Had to go back for reinforcements yesterday, though. I will remember the grocery bags next time! :P

I was really proud of Natalie- she is so enthusiastic about visitors- and we never take her and the ratties together- when she goes alone she barks at people and tries to show out, trip up the joggers, lick the little kids, pounces on the other dogs. We thought we'd give it another try and she was really well behaved. We didn't see any other dogs, but she didn't try to get a single jogger to notice her and ignored the kids and she walked on lead perfectly like she used to when she was smaller. Hogan was the worst yesterday, actually. He was the one being the show-off. Poor Pagan doesn't get into the water and she doesn't want to be trampled, but she does like chase the ducks if you'd let her. All the ducks are twice her size, though, so they are not too worried about her.

That's really great your girls ignored the lose dogs. There was a rat/chi mix running loose in the park a few times back and Pagan went nuts. The dog was being quite challenging and circling us, etc. but Pagan wouldn't mind me at all. I ended up having to carry her out of the park before she completely choked herself trying to get to him. Hogan looked at the dog for about 2 seconds and let out a little growl, but went back to peeing on trees. This was a dog without an owner- not stray, but out of his yard from nearby. Luckily most of the dogs we encouter have conscientious owners. There's a GSD girl we see a lot who Hogan has an absolute crush on. LOL

Good looking dogs!

Nice pics Jenna!
I keep forgetting that Nat is a Ridgeback.. because of her colour, I guess. These pics clearly show her ridge..
In regards to the poop bags.. I use a roll of sandwich baggies. I guess you can't get away with that!
