Enough is Enough am I wrong?
Question: There is these people who live several streets down that has a beautiful older girl (not sure what kidn reminds moe of a little golden retriver) anyway they CONSTANTLY let her run loose (im assuming its THERES as I saw the dog go back to that house one day, Now I have almost hit this dog twice, have witnessed others almost hit her TODAY was the last straw. Shes usually very aloof dosent want to go near me so Today as I watched 2 cars swirve to miss her one stop its breaks and then she AGAIN go to walk out in front of him I decided that was ENOUGH. I called her to me and this time she came tail wagging. She has rabbies tag from 2001 and a county dog tag. I now have her on a tie out on the side of my house with food and water, called our security and the dog warden. I feel bad the dogs got to be picked up and spend time at the dog warden but im telling you It has to be better than getting killed one of these days, thank GOD I live in a neighbor hood thats known for its wildlife so were all on the watch out when drivng in here but these "owners" need to be hit in the pocket book for a fine where it will count maybe they will wake up and stop letting this old girl run and almost get killed. Am I wrong? Answer: You are NOT wrong. The owner does need to pay a fine IMO everytime they let that dog off his leash to roam. Some people are so stupid that after paying a fine over & over they still don't learn their lesson. Hopefully in this situation, the owner will learn the lesson before his dog ends up dead. Answer: Sue Thank I needed someone to let me know what I was doing wasnt wrong in taking her . I mean I have an IDEA where she lives but im not positive and this is an OLDER dog with her nipples hanging very low it looks like shes had puppies before. She is the SWEETEST thing I feel bad that she has to be outside but with two males a girl in the house just wont work lol. If it wasnt against the law id doggy nap her and keep her that and the fact I need anoather dog like I need a hole in the head. I just really really hope it wakes them up Ill post a pic of her in a bit shes such a cutie. Answer: Here is a pic of the old girl, isnt she just the cutest Answer: Christy, you did the right thing. Better do it now before something happens to her and then you feel bad. She is a Beautiful dog. Answer: I'll take her! She is so sweet. That is really frustrating that her owners are so irresponsible. Answer: Well shes been picked up. He said she might not need to be taken to the pound since she had rabbies and county tag. I feel bad but she was so very sweet and maybe this will wake them up about allowing the preciouse little girl to run loose. Answer: personaly I probably would have confronted the *supposed* owners before calling the authorities. But I do so like an argument. I'm evil that way. Answer: Welcome to the forum Debbie! Answer: Deb, I would have if Id have KNOWN who they were. Im not even positive the dog belonged there as I had only seen it go there once and Im not one to go to strange peoples houses, and knowing ive seen this dog out numerouse times I figured an authortity telling them off would weigh more to them, and I know the dog warden from other strays that has shown up here and he's REALLY going to let them have it that and charge them a fine. If I see her again out i'll do the same thing, poor girls older deserves to be in her home safe and sound not running the streets. I think thats the 6th dog (if memeory serves correct) thats been here since I moved here. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
