Question:
Well there count is up to 4 now. Apparently my cousin (if I have to claim them as that) decided they couldnt keep there BEAUTIFUL male Golden Retriver at there apartment anymore and asked my parents to take him. So that they can still have him but apparently not the responsibilty. I was out there Saturday and as always I make my rounds through, Abby, Cuddles, and Black Sady (my girls named her lol), and then the new boy Rocky.
My parents dogs are all tied out on chains dog houses, feed watered daily and lucky to get a pat on the head when there feed. Winter they add straw to there dog houses and cover the doors with blanket tacked to it.
I feel bad for ALL of there dogs and try to bring snacks and treats, give them attention when im there. There dogs are all unruly dogs, of course there dogs never been trained so they dont know any better but they are SWEETIES and not agressive of anything just have no real manners. Anyway I go and meet Rocky and he's got the most BEAUTIFUL coat (wont have it long once being stuck outside all the time and never bathed) and LISTENS you tell him to SET he Sets you tell him to Heel he heels and is such a love bug. If it wasnt completly impossible id call my cousin and beg him to let me have him. My parents feed dollar store dog food and the dogs have NEVER been to a vet in there lifes. I wish I was rich id take them all , at least this MALE is suppose to be fixed, as none of there females are, and the poor dogs so bored he's digging the crud out of the area he can reach.
Grizzly (my heart dog) is getting older in years he's 10 now and I pray many many years to come with him and id never at his age bring in a younger big dog that a domanice thing would take place but if it ever come to happen in years to come that I could bring Rocky here I would in a heartbeat.

That's too bad, Christy But you can't save them all, especially when it comes to tight finances. I guess just be glad he gets shelter, food and water right now.

Yeah I know I cant save them all, Wish I could though, I guess he's better off with food/water and shelter like you said. And ill take treats to them when I go and visit.
They all just deserved to be loved pets not watch dogs and lawn ortaments.
