Question:
just wondered if anyone here owns one and what sort of a dog they seem to be. have reade heaps of stuff on them, but would like to hear some real life stories.
also know about their skin condition, and whether people have come across this and how they treated it. i have read heaps of alternative treatments.
any info would be greatly appreciated.

My friends have a westie. He's about 7 months old now. He was the calmest puppy I've ever seen. What kind of skin condition are you refering to? He doesn't seem to have any problem with his skin. I'll have his owner (Jaded) post some more info on him.

Westies are big dogs in small bodies. They are fairly energetic, silly and loyal. I have met several and they are all really sweet.

I grew up with someone that had westies, and they were all very sweet and very smart dogs. He told me that each of them bonded more to just one person in the family, and that was THEIR dog, that is why they ended up with a few of them, so they could each have their own dog

I have a Westie he's 7 mts old now. He is the greatest little dog ever, he can be a little stubborn when trying to get him to come, but he is a great cudddle bug. He loves to sleep with me and his best friend Bonzai the pug. He's really gentle and generally very quite, likes to do his own thing even when there are a lot of other dogs around outside. when i groom him he falls asleep even when im cutting his nails. He is very loyal to me and very protective of the baby pug. He is a big suck if he hurts him self even just a little bit he will come running to me to make it better. Over all i have a great little dog and would never trade him for anything in the world. He also loves my germanshepards to death.
