Question:
last time Craig and I went to Bathurst to visit his parents they had company drop in, we were all sitting in the kitchen for a while when Diane(company) said to Dakin,,"hey do you wanna come see what I have in my truck" of course Dakin said Yah and grabbed my hand(he wouldnt go out without me) I said what is it and she said My dog Umbra,,,,,of course I got excited and away i went with Dakin with me,,,well she opened the jeep door and this BEUATIFUL dog stood there watching us, he was a mixed breed but just breath taking, she reached in first to grab him then I said "is he okay to pet" she saif of course, well i reached down to pet him and he literally lunged at me, teeth baring,,etc,,,I of course grabbed dakin and jumped back, ,,,I said WHOA why did he do that?? she said hes mad becuase we left him in the jeep and we went in the house!!
Anyways I wouldnt let dakin touch the dog and we went back inside, I told Craig everything that happened and said Well yah Umbra has bitten atleast 4 people
I was extremly upset that this lady took my 3 yr old son out to meet her dog when she knew he had the tendancy to bite, the dog is onyl 2!!!!
Now the reason she did this was because all evening she tried to get the boys to go to her, but they wouldnt, so she figured shed win Dakin over with her dog,,,,,it really bothers me!! if Dakin had have been the one to reach down instead of me Dakin would have gotten bitten right in the face and it would have been Dianes fault,,,,,why do people do these stupid things?

What a careless iressponsible person she is. I personally do not trust Grizzly around other kids. I go to the point that if he's out pottying all guests know they are not to go around him, he has NEVER shown a tendancy to be agressive except for some growling due to idiot neighbor kids but I will NEVER take a chance.
Just alone her trying to "win" over your kids and using a dog is weird in my opinion. Let alone to encourage a dog that has bitten to be around children, someone should smack her.

I agree,,someone should defiately smack her!! and they were upset with the dog because shes only allowed in the back and she jumped up into the front seat when they went in the house,,,well HELLO......
the sad thing is, If i had have gotten bit, everyone would have gotten angry at the dog, ,,,when it wasnt his fault, it was Dianes, ......
