I got my answer
Question: okay next door to me (their backyard is my side yard) the own a HUGE HUGE HUGE dog,,I mean HUGE,,hes bigger than a great dane(and I know this cause I owned a GD) I mean this dog is MASSIVE,,,,,,his docked tail is about 5 times bigger than Sashas, ,,,his front foot is about the size of my hand,,,,,this dog is incredible,,,,,anyways if hes outside the same time we are(hes behind a fence) he paces back and forth along the fence and kind of growls/grunts,,,etc,,,he hasnt overly shown aggression but he scared the bejeepers out of me,,, A little girl I met this summer told me its her cousins dog,,,I said is it friendly?? she said Yah as long as you dont go near it,,, ,,i thought it was funny the way she said it,,but I couldnt take her ord for it becuase you know how kids and especially the parents are,,"dont go near that dog, it might bite" anyways,,ive been waiting and waiting to see the owners outside,,,,and they never seem to be out,,,the dog has atleast a 5ft fence and in the summer i feel safe but with all of this snow hes head to head with the fence,,,IF he wanted over that fence wouldnt stop him,,,,I know Sasha can jump the baby gate and its a head higher than she is,,,so he would be able to jump this,,its eery,,when I have my back to him all I hear is him pacing and breathing and Ive been waiting for the moment to be bent over cleaning up dog poop and him be right on my back,,,not a great mental pic,, so FINALLY last night the man was out with him and he was throwing a stck to the dog,,,etc,,,,,,I heard him calling the dog Hunter,,,(great I know his name) I have this theory that if I know a dogs name it wont hurt me becuase it thinks I know him cause I know his name,,,lol so I yell out to the man,,,is your dog friendly??? He said Yah(but I heard some hesitation in his voice) then Hunter jumped up onto the fence and started growling at me,,then the guy laughs and says "well sometimes".... thats GREAT,,,knowing this dog wants to eat me, he CAN jump over the fence,,,,great feeling to have,,,,,he made me leery this summer, when I had the boys out playing,,he started growling at the boys,,I got spooked and took them inside(obviously,,who wouldnt),............and god love Sasha,,,she doesnt growl and shes not allowed to bark,,but when Hunter growled at ME(not her) she was on the other side of the car, she ran right over stood in front of me and barked than growled back at him,,,,,,he then said Cmon Hunter and took him inside,, I dont know how I feel abouthaving this massive mean dog living beside me,,,,,and I was proud of Sasha for sticking up for her mama But I will in no way shape or form put her in danger and if I take her outside now and Hunter is out,,,I will bring sasha inside and we wait until he goes in,,he doesnt seem to stay out for long Answer: I don't blame you for being nervous.. a 5 foot fence is nothing if the dog is that big. My friend's have 2 shepherds that can jump their fence easily.. Answer: we have a beast of a dog that lives down the street, i think it is a canis something ??? anyway he has these huge chains the family uses when he is outside. one day this summer he got out of his house and was running down the street, the owner right behind him, i asked if he needed a leash to catch him and he came back to give me the leash and he told me thanks he didnt want the dog running loose cause he was mean, this dog was probably 80lbs easily, and stood up to my waist, anyway he then told me the dog was 9 mos old, 9 mos !!!!!! he still has forever to grow. why oh why do people need huge dogs that are mean around ?? i sympathize with you brandy, Answer: Brandy, did you find out what breed of dog it is? I can understand why you feel uneasy with that kind of dog living next to you and the only thing between your yard and him is a 5 foot fence! Answer: Rossgirl.. is it a Cane Corso? Answer: Cane Corsos get heavy but they dont get that tall,,,,,,,,,but its hard to say I never found out becuase the dude took him right back in the house....the little girl told me this sumemr he had rottie in him,,,,BUT i did notice that they shaved him???? and I know you dont shave a rottie and hes way bigger than a full grown rot.....isnt their a type of sheep dog thats huge??? maybe he is mixed with the rottie?? he has the rottie colors but hes definately not a purebred Answer: Newfoundlands are huge, they look like big black bears, but they are not usually agressive. Answer: no he doesnt look like a newfie!!! we used to live beside a newfie breeder,,,,,hes black with the brown marks like the rottie,,,but I know hes mixed with something else,,, something that has to be relatively long haired since they shaved him Answer: Sorry Brandy.. the Cane Corso was for Rossgirl.. she said about a dog is her neighborhood that was a canis something.. Would your neighbors dog be a Bouvier/rotti mix? Bouviers are quite big and have long hair.. Answer: this is the dog we have down the street i remember it only because there was an article in dog fancy a couple years ago about a woman in san fransisco that was mauled to death ( this pic isnt the actual pic, just one i found online) this is a presa canario or canary dog Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
