Piggy/Doggy pictures

Question:
Picasso playing on the world's ugliest sofa!
Not a very flattering shot, but shows that his hair is growing back! (Just ignore Daddy, Piccy, and his fussing about your hay stuck to the world's ugliest sofa! ha ha!)
Conner found Christmas quite boring- (I agree!)
The stray- happy to let Conner slobber on him-
You can see his deformed foot in this picture- it doesn't seem to bother him now, though he favored it when he was running outside- but I think just because his pads were sore from his journey.

Answer:

Answer:
He showed up last week. We have a lot of strays, really.

1-12- One stray momma dog had 11 puppies under our house. And she won't come out for nothin'- but she don't mind us holding hte puppies. I think she thinks if she comes out, she'll have to leave. We just tried to make her a warm nest and keep taking her food and water. Still trying to decide what to do about that situation- rehome them myself or take them all to the shelter. (The last not a pleasant-sounding option- I prefer taking animals FROM the pound, not to!) The puppies have just opened their eyes- and are all fat and helthy-looking (though a little on the so ugly they're cute side)

Stray number 13- a gray kitten- living in my barn- eating my food but completely feral. Again- undecided. Should I trap him adn vet him OR be patient and see if he'll come to us. The first way, I don't think he'll ever trust us! Atleast it's not going to be having 11 kittens in my barn- so i am leaning toward being patient.

#14- nice doggy stray- Showed up with bloody paws, no collar, neutered, nice, housebroken adn well-trained. Took him to the vet about his feet (cracked and bleeding pads) apparently he had a long journey. He checked out okay, otherwise, other than a few ant bites on his legs nad feet, too. He has an odd deformity of his back left paw- one perfectly formed toeand pad and and odd, large, mishapen second pad with no other toes or nails. I am hoping some vet will know him for the foot. No microchip (not surprising) and no neighbors recognize him and no answers to my newspaper ads or signs. I plan to start calling vets tomorrow and place a second ad after that if no luck. I fear he may have been lost by a traveler- though fear his lack of collar, when it was clear by his cowlicked fur on his neck that he had one before- that his being here is not an accident. This one we will keep, probably, if we have no luck. He is a nice dog nad Conner is better behaved having a friend in the house. I just hope some nice old lady didn't have a very lonely Christmas without her little buggy-eyed, big-eared sweety.

Answer:
Oh, yeah- and Conner- so big- no kidding! He will be 8 months on the 6th- and he weighs just under 70. I realized how big he was when I caught him eating a box of granola bars the other day- that he had gotten out of the top cabinet!

Answer:
Your happy stray looks to be a Boston Terrier..
Does he walk alright on his deformed paw?

Answer:
He's a little taller and more streamline than a Boston, with a longer nose- but he definitely has some in him. We thought he maybe some Boxer or maybe French Bulldog mixed in- something to mix in the brindle coat. He's very sweet dog. He holds the foot up when he runs, but walks on it fine.

Answer:
Aww, they are soo cute! I want more Conner pics!

Answer:
