Welcome to www.tendlife.com !!!

My favorite brand of dog food :)

Question:
I just thought I would post this about the dog food I feed my dogs. I have talked to several people about it, and quite a few didn't know the company had dog food.
My puppies get Drs Foster and Smith Chicken and Brown rice puppy food. a 15 lb bag costs about $17 + a small weight fee, and about $7.99 shipping. a 30 lb bag costs about $29 + shipping and weight fee. my adult dogs get Drs Foster and Smith chicken and brown rice adult dog food, which is cheper than the puppy food, but it lasts longer than most food because the quality makes it so that less food needs to be fed, and even the stools are smaller and fewer. I am not going to cram this down people's throats, just thought I would post so maybe some people may find this a good food to try. Drs Foster and smith is even willing to give you an ingredient list on their foods. and all ingredients truly are human grade. I also like flint river ranch as well-I tried my dogs on that, but it did seem to go a bit faster than F&S food.

The web page is www.drsfostersmith.com

Awesome, thanks for posting the link

Answer:
I'm just started the process of getting Harley switched over to that! He and Katie are getting Chicken Soup right now, but I don't think it's agreeing with Harley. Since we have had him he has had two ear infections (and I've been very careful at bathtime about not getting water in his ears and keeping them dried out). I am going to try switching his food, to see if it helps at all. I have heard very good things about it!

Answer:
Yep, even high quality foods can cause problems with individual animals. Good luck with another brand. How often does Harley get baths?

Answer:
Only when he really needs one and even then, I'm overly cautious about getting water in his ears or around his head. The vet said today that they are very wet and prescribed some drops to dry them out. I'm wondering if he isn't wading around in the mud puddles and getting water in them that way. Hopefully the combination of the two will help clear him up shortly!
