Question:
Ok technically she's not a 'new' dog. She's the first dog I ever owned! I got Cindy when I was 8, and she turns 14 in April. She was an RSPCa doggy and has been living with my parents since I moved out (I moved out 6 weeks after my 18th birthday). Well last year I started taking her every weekend, but when summer hit and it got too hot, we had to stop it, because she is used to living it up in airconditioned comfort at my p's place.
Anyway my parent's bought an apartment (condo?) and the plan was that they weren't going to live in it for five years (no animals allowed) but they've decided they want to move in now and I jumped at the chance to get my dog back! I was telling Alex just the other day that I wanted her to come here a lot more often because she is half blind/ half deaf and has started to have some heart trouble. she also has minor arthritis. She LOOOOVVVEEESSSSS coming to my house so she'll make the move very easy and my p's are going to come visit her every day and take her for picnics of a weekend (yes they are serious). Anyway, I found out the other day and I'm soooo excited. She probably won't make it through the rest of the year so I'm over the moon about the idea that she gets to spend the rest of her days by my side.
Here are some pictures of my sweet old girl, Cindy. She is a beagle/kelpie x. She'll be living here permanently by april. BTW if I couldn't take Cindy, my p's would be staying where they are until she had passed..they are only giving her to me cause of how happy she is with me. There are days when she tries to come home with me and we have to stop her cause it's too hot. OH and my p's are getting us an a/c for the animal room (we currently live in my p's rental...long story) so she'll be living in the comfort she is used to!

thanks jane!!!! she loves the noodles!!! I'm actually under her in the pic...she just wasn't happy being there by herself...the noodles supported her but she freaked! haha

Carmen, I know Cindy! That is great she is going to live with you! She is going to be so content being with you. And you get an ac too? Sweet! So on the days it reaches 120 degrees (maybe I am exaggerating a bit ) you can hang out in the room with ac!
