My friend Kym who lives in Sparwood BC had one of her dogs stolen the other day He was taken out of their yard between 9:00am and 11:00am. His name is Domino and he is a 10 month old black pomeranian. He is related to my black pom Toquito. If anyone in the area sees or hears anyhting that could help please let me know.

Did she report it to the local Humane Society and Animal Control? She should put flyers everywhere with the dogs picture.. so whoever took the dog will be noticed if they take the dog out of their house (which they have to do eventually)..
Are they positive the dog was stolen or could the dog have escaped or been let out accidently? Keep checking the newspapers in case there is a Found report put there. If she has proof the dog was stolen, she should make a Police report too.

She has contacted all the Humane societies in her area, she also put up lots of fliers. She doesn't think he escaped. She has 4 poms and he is the only one missing, and they were all outside at the time. Her other dogs were freaking out alos when she went to bring them in, they were whining and running around frantically.

How awful! I hope your friend finds her dog. That is a shame. Is the dog microchipped? That is why when we get a dog, I will never leave the dog unsupervised in the yard. There are so many untrustworthy people in the world.

I don't remember if he has a microchip...she got him from the same breeder we got Toquito from and Toquito had a microchip when we got him...so its quite possible. At least she has the litter of Teikah's and Toquito's puppies to look forward to. They are due in a week.

Also contact area Vets...they could alert you if someone brings in a dog of the same description/breed.
