I have a little problem....need help with

Question:
I'm new here, but have had a dog most of my life. This is the first time I've had a dog that got ahold of a ball point pen. Well she got alot of ink on the side of her muzzle and on her right front paw. I got most of it off her paw but I can't get it all of it off her face ( she doesn't like to have her face washed ). Will this in any way harm her since I can't get it all off her face. My digi camera died on me need to get new batteries, she looks funny, but I'm worried that it may harm her if I can't get the rest off. When I rub the side of her face I'm not getting any of the blue ink to rub off. Any help on this matter would greatly be appreciated.

Answer:
The inks used in those pens are non-toxic so having some on her skin isn't going to be detrimental to her health (though, swallowing large amounts can have adverse effects). Anyway, I would try a cotton swap dipped in rubbing alcohol. Make sure to stay clear of the eyes and nose.
