Well I was appauled to read this today Pit Bulls banned from Petsmart Grooming If anyone disliked PS before, there's plenty of reason now. Please feel free to email them @ custserv@ssg.petsmart.com to let them know how you feel about this ridiculas policy.

You know that just makes me mad. Just because it's a pit bull doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed. I swear when will they give in and let them be dogs just like other breeds

Lixx, that is terrible! I don't have a PS by me so I don't shop there, but I would certainly boycott the store if I did. I will certainly email their customer service this evening.

The PetSmart in Ontario is just following the BSL. Not ALL PetSmarts feel that way. I have brought Logan to PetSmart (I held him because I don't want him walking on the floor) and the staff was so receptive to him. In fact, many of the PetSmarts in Illinois work with shelters that have Pitties.

Lizz, I agree. It is a shame people do not have a mind of their own. I wonder if PetSmart thinks something will happen to their business if they accept Pitties?

I hope they LOOSE buisness because of it and see the error of their ways. At the Petcetera near me I have seen so many staffies/pitties and rotties! A few of the small ankle biters, mostly for the clips. I am not sure where the closest PetsMart is to me, but I wonder if they have the same demographics. I couldn't imagine loosing such a large customer base!
