I went to the Barking Lot today and they always have a display of cookies that are homemade. They always look really good so I decided to treat my dog to one. I got him a Banana Peanut Butter one with Colostrum as icing sugar. It smelled SO good. It smelled like a fresh ginger snap...and I had several humans that said they would have eaten it if I didn't tell them it was a dog cookie! Taz really liked it too. I am going to try to find a recipe for dog cookies that doesn't make my house stink. Last time I made cat cookies they did not smell appetizing at all and the cats didn't even like them.

lol cooking for cats is a big waste of time in my experience, I used to make big batches of lentils, oatmeal & seaweed for my old cats to try to make them vegan, THAT didn't work, lol. Plus it really stank up the joint.....
That dog cookie sounds very yummy!!

My friend bought me dog cookies from the Health Food store. They really like them and I tried them too. I only had a bite and found them too dry for my liking but they are for the dogs! The company is local and is called THE PAWSTRY CHEF...the ones I got are Parmesan n' Carrot ones...
Ingredients: organic whole wheat flour, organic apple sauce, parmesan, free run eggs, filtered water, organic oat flour, organic carrots, soya lecithin, wheat germ, organic cornmeal, canola oil.

MmmM, peanut butter and icing sounds YUM The girls liked the sample of Old Mother Hubbards' peanut butter and honey formula. I just picked up a mixed pack of Old Mother Hubbard cookies for them (includes charcoal ones ) and they like them so far, my roommate thinks the bag smells like green apples, hehe
