Hi all,
A friend of mine may be getting a second dog and asked me how she should quarantine the dog. Frankly, I didn't know. Both dogs are outside dogs. Both have their shots up to date, etc. How do you do this?

I've always heard that as long as they are both up to date on all the necessary shots that a quarantine isn't required. I might be wrong though.


Answer:
I did a search on Google and couldn't find ANYTHING about quarantining a second dog. The only information I found about quarantine was for pups that hadn't had all of their shots yet.


Answer:
If they are both up to date with shots and both healthy, there's usually no need to quarentine a new dog.
