I'm all for neutering, but....
Question: Someone posted this great link on another forum to explain why spaying/neutering costs so much. http://www.thepetcenter.com/sur/costspay.html I have to admit until I worked at a veterinarian clinic, I had no idea either has much was involved even with "simple" surgeries. Answer: Jones said the dog’s owner claims he met the man in a local park while walking his dog and knows nothing about him. Bull****. Nobody lets a complete stranger operate on a loved one, don't care how stupid they are. If he couldn't afford the vet bill, he shouldn't have bought the dog.Period. Answer: Not everyone treats their pets as loved ones, more often than not, pets are seen as objects. At least the owner knew enough to get his dog neutered, but to have it done in someone's garage?? I guess he didn't want to spend that much money on his 'object' which is ironic since he's spent a lot more for emergency surgery etc. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
