Dirty Dog
Question: Get it, Hogan! Get it! Answer: That is cute. My dog digs and it drives my mother crazy (understandably) but I think she is just bored. You have a pretty dog Answer: That's a great picture of Hogan.. doing what he's bred for! Answer: That second pic is too precious!!!! 8) Answer: He's not that dirty! I was expecting to see Nattie covered in mud! Answer: Originally Posted by suzoo That's a great picture of Hogan.. doing what he's bred for! Thank you, Suzoo! I am glad someone pointed that out. Yes, holes in the yard are ugly, but there is no better way to get a dog in top condition than letting him do what he is bred to do. Besides, he loves to dig! Of course, I am not going to let him kill any rabbits or moles, but he is welcome to dig some holes. Well, a couple, at least. LOL We take him to the park late at night every night it is not wet or raining and let him dig in the pea gravel on the playground. We have to fill all the holes in before we leave, of course, but it is great exercise. Also good exercise fetching pinecones- running through gravel is really helping him to build muscle. He has the Carolina Classic next weekend. He has improved so much with his gait in the last month- now if there is no idot bringing a female in heat this time- maybe he and all the other males can focus on what they are there for! LOL Answer: Hi, I think Hogan is just trying to dig holes so that you can plant some nice flowers..lol Red Answer: What is the Carolina Classic? A good tip for getting them to dig (not that he needs encouragement!) is to bury treats/bones in the yard and then let him find them.. Answer: Originally Posted by suzoo What is the Carolina Classic? It's one of the two biggest shows as UKC hosts as well as many UKC breed clubs, etc. Lotta different dogs- with lots of events. Big opportunity. Is possible to Grand Champion in one weekend at a big show like that- since lots of points up for grabs. Hogan will be in several shows- and if the schedule allows, in terrier racing, too. I get my Pagan then, too! Answer: Good Luck Hogan!! Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
