Welcome to the new member of our family.... Mia
Question: After letting her get use to her new surroundings Mia has finally settled in. We got her yesterday ( 5/21 ) she's 8 months old. She came from a lady who rescued her from an abusive owner. Mia was kept in a filthy pen with 8 other dogs. When Peg's friend rescued her she was filthy and had ton's of worms in her. As far as we know she has been dewormed ( she has had a poo since she been her and we can see no live worms but we will have her checked out to be sure ). She very skittish, by what we know she was hit, attacked by the other dogs and living in feces. The lady we got her from cleaned her up really good and wormed her but we are still going to be sure of no worms. She has never had a collar on so we are having to work with her on that and has never been walked on a leash either. Lucky is still leery of her but letting her come closer then when she first got her. Dad has taken her as his dog ( shocked ) he won't let any dogs sit on his lap but now that we have Mia she's on his lap getting loved on by him. Well here she is... Mia Answer: She looks like a sweetheart! I am glad she has a chance at a much better life with your family. Congrats on your new addition! Answer: The poor thing - congratulations on taking her in. I'm sure she'll get used to you all soon, although it might take a bit longer given what you've told us about her history. Answer: Good Luck with her.. with a lot of patience I'm sure she'll come around. Beagles are wonderful dogs.. just don't let her off leash or she'll follow her nose & be gone. Congrats on rescuing her! Answer: She is very sweet. Congrats on the new addition and best of luck with her. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
