Can anyone recommend a good puppy school in Ottawa region?
Question: I've got a call a few days before the class begins that the class is now cancelled due to low interest. errrrrrr I live in Kanata, the west end, I'd prefer some place close to Kanata. Many thanks. Answer: Sorry nymph, I live in the east end and took my puppy to Best Friends Dog Training. Kim Cooper is the best, unfortunately I didn't book soon enough to be in her class. I've heard great things about Bytown Dog Obedience and I plan to contact them but that is in the south end of Ottawa (near Conroy Pit). I hope that you find a good one near your home! Sorry I couldn't help! Melissa Answer: Thank you melissa. I know Bytown is good, but they are a little far from where live. A friend of mine referred me to the Carolark on Eagleson, but her puppy class is full. :( I'll keep looking. Here is a lesson learned: book a backup class! Answer: We've been taking classes through Dogma dog training.....it's been great so far (two weeks). I don't think there are classes out in the Kanata area though.... http://www.dogma.ca Shake a Paw offers the same type of training (positive training) http://www.dogtraining.ca/ It's in Kemptville though.... Answer: Dogma only offers private in-home puppy training, at least according to the website. Is that what you've enrolled in? How much is it if you don't mind me asking.
