Next year we are hoping to take our Patterdale Terrier with us to the US from Uk. We will travel across US for about 4 months. Does anyone know if this is possible on a pet passport?

You will not need the pet passport to get into the US, just a vet certificate and confirmation of rabies shots etc...

You will need the pet passport to get back into the UK, along with a vet inspection 24 hours prior to returning... this is key, otherwise, you will face the quarantine no matter what, and dogs do badly in quarantine...

Plan ahead, it takes 7 months form the first rabies shot until you get the pet passport, 1 month from the day of the rabies jab for the result of the test plus 6 months to get the passport...
