Hi All,

I’ve just moved to the Peterborough area and have been looking for an off leash dog park, can anyone point me in the right direction or at least a good place to socialize with other dogs?

I'm not from your area, but I just wanted to say that you have to be careful at dog parks these days- there are outbreaks of a bad strain of kennel cough in Ontario and there is a doggy flu coming... If you see any doggy with symptoms, RUN!

Welcome to Peterborough Hardware, sorry to tell you there are no leash free parks hear in Peterborough. Why you ask? I wish I new, It was brought up last year, at counsel and turned down flat. Now we have the highest bit stats in Ontario for a City our size, becuse people are useing all city parks as leash free zones. There is a hefty fine for haveing a dog off leash here as well. The only way I get to socialize my girls is to camping up north with freinds, and there dogs, It's private property so they never see a leash or muzzel the hole time.
