Long-ish distance Travel Options...
Question: Good Day! I would like to go home for Christmas, however, "home" is about 9 hours away from my current place of residence. I would like to bring my dog with me, but am unsure of my options. I can't take the train and I don't believe flying with a pet is an option right now due to the holiday season. Are there any other options? Can I arrange to have my dog "shipped" or "delivered" (yeah, I realize that sounds terrible, but I don't know how else to put it) to my home destination? Thanks! Answer: Did you try the bus lines. Do you drive? 9 hours isn't that bad in the car. If you don't have a car, maybe you could rent one. Answer: Yeah, renting is a good option. You can get pretty good deals this time of year. Answer: I don't know where you live, but in Ontario the buses do not allow dogs. Driving is probably your only option - outside of boarding your pup. Answer: Where are you going to and from? What breed do you have? From the info so far, it looks like renting a car may be your only option, unless someone is going your way. Answer: Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
