Question:
I have two very sweet loving cats but sometimes they get carried away with the kneeding they do with their claws. I know that this is a sweet thing that they are doing and i find it adorable but when i wake up in the middle of the night to claws in my arm, chest, and sometimes head....IT HURTS!!! do any of you have cats that do this?

Answer:
Clipping the sharp points off their claws will help. My cat was used to me doing this and would let me know when she needed it. It's easy to do if your cat will allow it. Puss used to calmly watch as I did it.

2 of my cats lets us clip their nails,it's a 2 person job My 3rd cat,Rocky,we can only clip one nail a day
If there is two of you,one person cn cuddle the cat on his/her lap and the other do the clipping,very carefully!
My one cat kneads me in the morning too,but I have a thick duvet,so I do not feel it,if he gets towards my face,I go under the duvet
