Cat breath
Question: I don't expect it to smell like flowers, but Frankie's breath smells like fish. We don't brush her teeth, not that she'd let us anyway, but are there any other remedies? How about cat friendly additives to the water? Parsley? And if I was to brush her teeth, should I brush her gums and roof of her mouth like my dentist tells me to? She eats dry food, and has cat grass to chew on. Thanks. Answer: I"ve had oodles of cats, and never had one who had sweet breath! Cats' mouths have a great deal of bacteria in them, and other than brushing her teeth (which I have never done) there's not much of a solution. Just hold your breath when she yawns in your face. That's what I do. Answer: actually I've seen this liquid stuff in the pet store that you can add to their water. It's supposed to help with the buildup on their teeth and help freshen their breath. Not sure if it works or not though. Answer: Getting the vet to do some teeth cleaning may improve his breath. Our cat go in for an occasional dentistry. It seems to help for awhile. We have one cat that when he purrs in your face, just about knock you over. Answer: Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
