I totally forgot how to do this until I was in Lewiscraft today and saw a plastic version of this.

It's called "Spool knitting"

We used to make slippers and socks and doll clothes doing this. I just realised that it would be a great way to make doggy socks!

It's so easy to make your own tool. Just take an old wooden spool or wooden dowel with a hole in it, and hammer in a bunch of nails around the top!

I think I am going to go and make something tonight!!
