At what age do puppies normally start humping? I have a 9 week old beagle and he was humping my friends leg earlier this evening. I was very bothered by this because I thought that it was very young for him to start that. Any ideas?

Humping in puppies is normal, exploratory behaviour.
Sometimes the choice is - bark at it, bite it, run away from it, or hump it.
At this age it is not sexual, it's just one of his ways of figuring out how to interact with his world.
Discourage him from doing this to any part of a human, but it will probably naturally go away shortly & will only reappear at the onset of sexual maturity, at which point you'll be getting him neutered, so no worries.
