Our 6-7 mth old kitten has decided she likes to play with the dog water bowl while we're gone.

She flicks the water out of the bowl with her paw ..leaving a big splash of water across the kitchen floor.....she's almost emptied the bowl a few times!!! Silly silly beast

I wonder if cats are so fascinated with water because they originated from the desert?

When both my cats were younger (they`re 2 & 3 now) they used to come into the shower with me. They would sit between the shower curtain and the liner. Sometimes the Siamese would actually jump in the tub and sit at the very end so he didn`t get sprayed with water.

Now they only come in occasionally...usually they wait till I`m finished and then jump in and play with the drips. And every once in awhile they`ll still flick water out of the dogs bucket.

Our cat Homer loves to sit and just stare at a mud puddle. He can't wait for it to move. They are so silly.

My cat mitzie loves to leave her water bowl in the middle of the kitchen. It drives my dad wild, and it seems to entertain her immensly for some reason that's beyond me.
