Question:
Hi I take care of a stray cat, recently had her fixed, but now I see she has some sort of ooze coming from one of her eyes, anybody know what it is?

I think anything discribed as oozing should be seen by a vet..
oozing screams infection in my world.

I definitely would take her to the vet as it does sound like an infection. Has she had her vaccinations?

The eye ooze could be a sign of sinus or upper respiratory infection especially if it is yellow/greenish in color. Or as with my Spook, he has regular allergies and his eyes will tear alot on dry windy days, but it's clear.

Yes I had her get all her shots, and also fixed. See the problem is I dont see her on a regular basis, she roams the streets, she comes to me about twice a week. She is friendly but since the eye looks infected she wont come near me. Any suggestions on what to do? thank you
