Question:
We have a Schnauzer Shih Tzu that seems to get "cranky" in the evening. He's a fairly well trained dog, however, when 8 or 9 pm rolls around he starts getting quite jumpy and very nippy and doesn't seem to want to listen as much as he did during the day. To me it seems like he's just getting cranky cause he's tired. Does this happen with dogs? Or could it be something else?

P.S. He's about 11 months old right now.

mine gets sleepy and doesnt like to be brushed in the evening that late.I can brush him any time of the day but if i start around 8-9,he doesnt let me.I think they get to know our routine and know itis sit down and relax time

Ironically it's sit down and relax time for us, but for him it's jump on everything and bite any hand that comes near and don't listen to anyone time ...
