Just caught this on CH.A girl was attacked by 2 Dutch Shepherds(pretty rare breeds here.So this may really not be the breed) in St Catherines.The 2 dogs got out of the owners car(window down).The dogs are being quarintened for 10 days.Will keep you updated.

No an the fact that Shepherds have one of the highest incidents of bites this will never be mentioned. I am not advocating banning Shepherds but he needs to get his facts straight oh thats right he doesn't care about facts. Dog hating vindictive little man that he is.

Although I mention pit bulls and mb in a tongue-in-cheek manner, I in no way mean to make this out as funny. Do we know how the girl is? She must have been terrified and hopefully did not suffer any serious injury at all! This insanity has got to stop or I fear dogs will be banned from the face of Ontario period! If any irresponsible dog owners are out there reading this forum, Get it together and take control of your dogs! Train them to be good citizens; ask for help in doing so! It's out there and it's free! Please don't let your dog be the next one to hurt someone.

Well when I was watching the news,there was a witness who saw it all.They showed the spot where it happened.But it never fails,as I was trying to listen,Tron decided he would rather talk(bark)then have me listen to the t.v.

Back in the day when I was a child, growing up in Ontario, german shepherds were the "killers" pitbulls are being labelled today. Everyone who didn't know much about dogs was petrified of them, they were the beasts for status for the "toughies". Then it was pitties, rotties, then pitties again. It's so sad when any dog bites and I hope the girl is okay. I believe I was just reading somewhere that LABS, yes gentle labs are responsible for 80% of all reported dog bites. I don't know for sure, at anyrate, no ONE dog breed is just bad, pitbulls have their own needs as do all breeds. I really hope the girl recovers and the government opens it's eyes. Too true lezzerpezzer, everytime I hear about a dog bite, I worry someone somewhere is planning another ban
