Question:
quick question to multiple dog owners , with opposing genders,
would a spayed female and a neutered male ever have the possiblility of just doin it with each other? Just for the heck of it?

(serious question, although funny smarta$$ answers welcome and expected..)

I have only one dog, but can tell you the answer to your question is YES!

Spaying and neutering, particularly of mature animals, doesn't remove memories!

I have never seen a spayed dog sit still to be mounted by a male. Any male that has tried is lucky to get away with his life.
I have seen neutered dogs tie with an intact female though.

Since we got buddy last spring he was only with Ursa Ol gal of thirteen, and she was like karin said.....buddy was lucky to get away with his life....lol So he gave up.

But alas there are two younger females in the household now, one 6 months and intact and one 6 years and fixed.

He likes both and will try to do both, fixed or intact he is just a determined young guy trin to get a piece no matter how it comes But I think he is still unsure of the procedure because to my knowledge he has not quit gotten the moves downpat yet.....so to speak

Isn't it more of a dominance thing, though, when they are spayed and neutered?? I know Jake and Gypsy go at each other for a few secs before someone, usually Gypsy, realizes it's pointless.

I believe it is a domince thing either that or my two female sibs are gay! I've seen my two females trying to out do each other it's quite funny to watch,but then theres my male neutered border cross who only tries to mount the more dominate of the two females, so I'm not sure but I believe it is a domince thing.

Chocolate was neutered at 6 months, and Honey shortly after I got her, over a yr ago.

Chocolate attempts to mount her practically everyday, in the form of domination of course... whenever Honey doesnt have the upper hand.

Amen to what Karin said, my 5 1/2 yr old female dog would tear Rudy (9 tomorrow) completely up if he dared. to try that with her!.......LOL He never has tried, that I know of, and that surprises me! Guess she told him in her own way
