As I've been saying I'm in the process of looking for another dog .... here's my question .....

I've always wanted to have a dog named Monty (ever since reading a book with a Monty in it ) I thought I was going to get a male dog so Monty made sense ... but I think it might actually be a female! Can I name a female dog Monty??? Or it that just too silly??

My dog is a girl and her name is Phil. It had sentimental meaning for us. If people ask we just say her "real" name is Phylis (sp.). Once she's spayed she won't be a boy or a girl so it really doesn't matter!
