Is she spayed? If not, keep them seperated for the next two weeks. If she is spayed she may just be responding to his cry's or the scents he brought home from the vet's. If your girlfriend "just"brought him home...it would be wise to crate him for a few days when there is no supervision. If the female is intact and in her heat cycle, the 9 month old can still breed with her. Answer: i thought the 9 month old was neutered? how can he then breed with the female, karin? Answer: Originally Posted by lucyvanpelt i thought the 9 month old was neutered? how can he then breed with the female, karin? ....and just brought home. A 9 month old puppy is quite capable of breeding with a female in estrus. Even neutered..the surgical removel of the testicals does not render the male sterile immediatly, sperm can still be present. Answer: What is the problem really, apart from the concern they may be able to breed? The female should be spayed anyhow, if she is not already. Why are you afraid to leave them together? What's wrong with them running around, assuming they are running around playing in the house or yard? I love it when my dogs run around and play. I guess I am not understanding precisely what the problem is. Answer: Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
