Cocker Spaniel fur baby

Question:
Hey,
I am getting my female cocker spaniel puppy tomorrow and i have a few questions.
My parents and me will be at work and school all day but my grandma will be home all day. So should i ask my grandma to go pet her several times during the day so she won't suffer from seperation anxiety?

When should i switch her to adult dog good?

Thanks!!!!!

Answer:
Go pet her?
Where is she going to be all day? Assuming she's a regular little puppy, she will need to go outside every two hours or so (after eating, after waking up, and whenever she looks like she's about to) so if your grandma will be home with her, she should take her out, not just pet her.
Giving your puppy every possible chance to go potty outside and be praised for it will go a LONG way in getting her quickly housetrained!

Little puppies don't get seperation anxiety in the classic sense adult dogs do. But your new pup will be lonely and confused, and as long as there's someone in the house with her, there is no need for that to happen.

Answer:
If your grandma is not up to the task your new pup is going to have a whole new set of issues if you ask me...

The puppy is going to wonder why he/she is being ignored and not played with....I'm no expert but I can't see this scenario playing out too well for the little fellow---IF this is the way it is going to go down.
