dog activities in GTA

Question:
Hi everyone, I am new here and just wondering if anyone knows if there are any dog activities that are in the Greater Toronto Area, close to Oshawa. I am looking for some sort of fenced in or indoor area where my two dogs can play with other dogs or a good place for my new pup to learn agility. I really just want my two girls to be able to have fun with other dogs and maybe introduce my 3 month old pup to some agility training. Thanks, nic

Answer:
Thats a great question. I would love to know that too! I want to get my doggy into agility as well

Answer:
I don't know of any offhand, but a couple of suggestions to find some places

Google for Agility Clubs. There is an agility association out there and you can find a club close to you.

Also try the meetup groups website to see what doggie groups are in your area, either breed specific, or for agility, etc. If there aren't any, maybe try starting one.

Nikki-d I was born and raised in Oshawa and get back their regularly to see my mom and sister, maybe our furbabies can get together when I am back. Also, I will ask my sister if she knows of any doggie facilities in the area. How far around Oshawa are you looking ??? Pickering, Port Perry, Bowmanville, Port Hope ???

Answer:
Goldengirl, I am looking in the courtice area, I know that there is a place called superdogs in my area for agility training and stuff but I am also looking for any dog parks or other activities as well. If your sister knows of anything please let me know Thank you

Answer:
Try this place in Pickering www.k9klubhouse.ca, they have great spot for trials in the summer. There's also a spot in Port Perry www.citizencanine.com

Goto www.aac.ca for a complete list of agility clubs. I also know a really good trainer in Markham.
