Hello,
A recent CBC report indicates my dog (10 years) has increased level of Platelet count (580) and a high cholesterol level. Is this a good indication of Hyperthyroidism? Should I consider asking my vet for a bone marrow biopsy? I understand that high platelet counts may be an indicator for a bone marrow disorder. My dog does not appear lethargic or lacking in energy. My vet has offered nothing to date and I'm looking for a new one. Thanks
