Question:
Everytime Maximus takes a nap and reaches REM sleep he starts to wag his tail like he is SOOO excited. I hear ::thump:: ::thump:: ::thump:: and when I look... of course it's his tail hitting whatever he is laying on. Then he starts to chirp, sometimes he kicks too! It's so funny that I stop what I'm doing to watch and I laugh the whole time... I never get sick of it!

I just thought it would be cute to hear what all of your furry family members do when they sleep.

I'm off to run a volunteer meeting for the Animal Care and Control... I'll check this when I get back!

my pup moves around alot and shares the bed with us he'll be on his back with his legs going running after some one or something wish i could get in his mind and find out. he also snores really load was funny when he was a little guy with big snores, now he's a big guy with just as big snores

When Halo used to sleep on my bed she slept by the wall and her feet would twitch like crazy in her sleep. At first I thought we had squirrels in the attic again until I realized it was her nails scratching on my walls. She no longer sleeps on the bed, but I still hear the feet going for a walk at night...

No, he does sleep in the bed with me I've been woken up many times thinking I was being "tapped" to find out it was his tail. When he loses the covers and can't get back under he puts his face against mine- eyes to eyes and stares at me until I wake up to let him back under!! LOL... when he first started doing it, it weirded me out- I would wake up like "WHAT THE..." but now i'm used to it.

Levi has done that when he takes naps as well. It creeped me out at first - not knowing what he was doiing, since my cats don't do that. Sometimes he'll bark (which is muffled because his mouth is closed) and it sounds scary, like he's mad at something. Cute to watch his legs go though - like he's running through a big field.

Odin "stomach barks" when he is asleep. He will bark and it sounds like it is coming from inside of him...but he doesn't open his mouth...so it's quite funny.

Daisy does all of those too. She does this weird wheezing-barking thing. I used to think she was having problems breathing, then I realized she was barking in her sleep. Cracks me up.
