Question:
I was just wondering what are the chances of a cat having one or more all white kittens. the stray we took in just gave birth this morning and had two all white kittens and one orange and white, and one all black kitten.

I don't know much about genetics, but since a litter can have many fathers, it's not unusual to get a real "mixed bag" including long and short haired kittens in the same litter!

What the odds of all white are, I do not know. Here's a link about white colour:

Hey Shannon...off white in kittens could mean that they are going develop points like a siamese or other pointed breeds. We see them crop up in seemingly regular litters a few times a year. You should know in about a week as they will start to darken up around the face, legs, & tail.
I guess if not that, they could be light cream tabbies.

We took in a deaf white cat several years ago who turned out to be pregnant - she was quite young. She had a litter of 5 - 3 were snow white, one what orange and white and the other white and orange with a black patch over his eye. The 3 white kittens were deaf also - but I found that being deaf was not a hindrance - first ones to hear the fridge door open.

With Siamese kittens, you can tell by their little tails sometimes what points they may develop - as in blue, lilac, seal, flame, etc.
