Have you ever seen cats in the wild? What species?
Question: I've never seen cats in the wild on a hike or from a car. Answer: What kind of cats? Feral or 'big cats'? I've seen a lot of feral cats back in Latvia, but never seen one here ... OR is it a good thing? LOL In terms of big cats, no, never. I've seen a lot on the drive-through safari, but i'm sure it doesn't count. Btw, the Six Flags safari we go to here in NJ is the biggest one outside of Africa! Marshu.com | Munchkin Polydactyl All White Cat - Marsh (Marshmallow) Answer: I'm not referring to feral cats, I mean other species of cats whether they're large or small (bobcats, lynx, ocelot, puma, tiger, etc.), or "wild cats" that live in Europe, Africa and maybe parts of Asia which are the same species as domestic cats and are truly wild(not feral). Minesweeper Live Answer: Grew up in North Arkansas and we had a bobcat family that lived on our farm. In fact had a kitten that was part barn cat and bob cat. Had him for 15 years. We also had Linx. And my dad swore there was a mountain lion that was around. In the Ozark mountains not much telling what you can find. Cats are Gods way of reminding us we aren't as important as we think we are Answer: I've seen a lynx. I grew up in northern Sweden and we have quite many lynxses up there. Answer: Yes I have, and believe it or not it was near Solihull in the Midlands of England. There are quite a few stories around about sightings of large cats in the UK - possibley escaped from captivity and managing to live by killing farm animals etc. I believe those stories now, as I have seen one! It was about 3 years ago when Partner and I were on a canal boat holiday. We saw a huge cat in a field on the opposite bank to where we had just moored. Definitely not a domestic moggie! It was about the size of a puma and a darkish brown colour. It seemed to be stalking something. We were both amazed - Partner rushed to get the camera, but by the time he got it the cat had disapeared into the undergrowth. I might have posted about this before a while back, so forgive me if you've read it before! seashell Answer: Yeah, ive seen a few bobcats up in the bakersfield mountains in california.I also once saw a panther. They are pretty cool, but usually when they see you...they run away really quickly X_x; Feed an animal in need>>> Click Here Answer: There have been reports saying that the numbers of Mountain Lions in this state are increasing. However, they're quite rare and I've never seen a wild cat around here. -Rob Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
